Membership in the Pekingese Club of America


 

Initial non-refundable application fee $10.00


There are two types of membership:
Domestic Membership - Annual Dues: $35.00
Foreign Membership - Annual Dues:  $45.00 USD


The requirements for application for membership in
The Pekingese Club of America:

  1. Applicants must apply on an application form approved by the PCA Board of Directors, available from the PCA Secretary, and sign the PCA Code of Ethics.
  2. An applicant must have two sponsors who are current PCA members in good standing, who have been members of PCA for at least one year and have known the applicant for at least one year.
  3. Two members of the same household may not sponsor the same applicant.  However, in the case of an applicant living outside the continental US, with the exception of Canada, two members of the same household may sponsor the same applicant with board approval.
  4. A Board appointed Membership Committee researches applicant credentials.
  5. To be approved for membership, an applicant must be published in an issue of the PCA Bulletin prior to going to a vote of the Board.
  6.  An affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the Board voting in-person, by email, fax or traditional mail is required to approve an applicant for membership.
  7. If an applicant is approved, membership becomes active when the PCA Treasurer has received dues payment.
