The Pekingese Club of America

Rescue and Rehoming Network

The Pekingese Club of America is committed to the promotion of responsible ownership and care of Pekingese everywhere.  The PCA Rescue and Rehoming Committee was founded in 2008 with a new dual purpose concept and a mission:

    • To coordinate and work with rescuers and rescue organizations nation-wide to seek out Pekingese in need, take them to safety, through rehabilitation if needed, and find each Peke in need a happy home.
    • To provide a new service to help PCA Club member-breeders who have retirees in their breeding programs for which they would like to find permanent, caring homes, anytime.
    • To extinguish the taboo of breeders needing to place retired breeding stock.  Member-breeders may now contact the committee with a request to find homes for their retired dogs.
