The Pekingese Club of
America is committed to the promotion of responsible ownership and care
of Pekingese everywhere. The PCA Rescue and Rehoming Committee was
founded in 2008 with a new dual purpose concept and a mission. |

To coordinate and work with rescuers and rescue
organizations nation-wide to seek out Pekingese in need, take them to
safety, through rehabilitation if needed, and find each Peke in need a
happy home.
o
To provide a new service to help PCA Club
member-breeders who have retirees in their breeding programs for which
they would like to find permanent, caring homes, anytime.
o
To extinguish the taboo of breeders needing to
place retired breeding stock. Member-breeders may now contact the
committee with a request to find homes for their retired dogs.
